Why EasyMeet

Built for clubs, not stadiums.

01

No hardware to buy

Volunteers' phones are the timing system. Nothing to purchase, hire, store or charge between meets.

02

No app to install

Timers open a link or scan a code and time a lane in their phone browser. Nothing to download.

03

Swim Central native

Drop in your HY3 nominations and the whole program builds itself, seeded into heats and lanes.

04

Live room scoreboard

Cast results to any TV or projector straight from a browser. No adapter, no extra box on deck.

05

A PB on every swim

Each result lands with a green, amber or red verdict against the swimmer's previous best, live.

06

Australian-built

Made in WA and hosted in Sydney, built around how Australian clubs actually run a club night.

How it works

Three steps from a file to the finish line.

01

Import the HY3

Drop a Swim Central export and the whole program builds itself — every event, heat and lane.

02

Share a code

Timers and the starter join by QR or NFC. No login, no app install, no fuss.

03

Tap FINISH

Two phones per lane, auto-averaged into the official time with a PB verdict.

The live board

Results the whole room can read

One tap of GO starts every phone on the same instant. Times land on the projector as swimmers touch, each with a personal-best verdict beside the name, so families see the result before the swimmers have dried off.

Running a school carnival?

A whole school is a big day to hand time. The same phones, the same live board, run your carnival with no gear to hire and no paper. Houses, age champions and ribbons are on the way.

Questions

Good to know

Do we need to buy any equipment?

No. EasyMeet runs on the phones your club and families already carry. There are no touchpads, consoles, iPads or cables to buy or hire.

Do volunteers have to download an app?

No. Timers and the starter open a link or scan a QR code and time their lane in the phone browser. There is no app and no account to create.

Does it work with Swim Central?

Yes. Import your nominations as an HY3 file and the program builds itself. Export results as PDF and CSV to load back into your records.

How accurate is it?

Every phone starts together on one GO signal, timed by the server, so there is no clock drift between phones. Two phones per lane are averaged and times read to a hundredth of a second. Like all hand timing the finish is judged by a person tapping, so EasyMeet produces proper hand times: consistent, defensible, and far more reliable than a single stopwatch and a paper card.

Has it run a real meet?

Yes. It timed a full Margaret River Swim Club night in Term 2 2026: 37 swimmers, 4 lanes, multiple heats, zero timing failures.

Do the times count as official qualifiers?

EasyMeet is built for club nights, time trials and carnivals. Its times are great for club records, handicaps and tracking progress. For a time to count as a Swimming Australia official qualifying time, the meet still has to be run under licensed officiating per SA requirements. EasyMeet does not make a meet sanctioned.
