For schools

Run your whole carnival on the phones you already have.

A school swimming carnival is a big day to hand time. EasyMeet turns the phones on deck into accurate, synchronised timing, so there is no gear to hire, no paper, and results land the moment the last race finishes.

The carnival problem

A whole school, timed by hand

Stopwatches, paper cards, a runner ferrying times to a recorder, and the house tally added up long after everyone has gone home. Carnivals are exactly the day that hand timing falls over.

  • No timing gear to buy or hire
  • Nothing to transcribe afterwards
  • Every lane timed the same way

The live board

Results the whole carnival can see

One tap of GO starts every phone on the same instant. Times land on the hall or grandstand screen as swimmers touch, so students, teachers and parents follow the racing live.

  • Synced to a few hundredths
  • Two-timer lane averaging
  • Casts to any TV or projector

How a carnival runs

Set up once, time all day.

1

Load the program

Set up your events, heats and lanes for the day. Your whole carnival, in one place.

2

Share two codes

Volunteers join a lane by QR code in their phone browser. The starter joins on a separate code.

3

Tap GO

The starter taps GO once. Every phone on deck starts on the same shared clock.

4

Results land live

Times appear on the big screen as swimmers finish, and export the moment racing ends.

On the way for carnivals

Built for how carnivals score.

The phone timing and the live board work today. These carnival features are in active development. We would rather tell you straight than oversell, so here is exactly what is coming.

In development

House and faction points

A live tally as results land, with the winning house up on the screen the moment the last race finishes. No more adding it up by hand at 9pm.

In development

Spreadsheet entry

Upload your carnival from a spreadsheet or CSV, no Swim Central needed, plus quick nominations on the day.

In development

Year-level age champions

Age champion per year and gender, worked out automatically, with place rankings across every event.

In development

Ribbons and certificates

Printable place ribbons and age-champion certificates, ready for the office to print and hand out.

Questions

Carnival questions

Do we need to buy or hire any timing gear?

No. A carnival runs on the phones your teachers, parents and senior students already carry. There are no touchpads, consoles, iPads or cables to buy or hire.

Who actually runs it on the day?

Whoever you already roster on. A volunteer scans a QR code, picks a lane and taps as each swimmer finishes. There is no app to install and no account to create, so there is nothing to train.

How accurate is it for a carnival?

Every phone starts together on one GO signal, timed by the server, with no clock drift between phones. Two phones per lane are averaged and times read to a hundredth of a second. It is hand timing done properly: more consistent, and far quicker than stopwatches and paper cards.

Can it score houses and age champions?

House and faction points, year-level age champions, spreadsheet entry and printable ribbons are in active development for carnivals. The phone timing and the live results board work today. Talk to us about a pilot and we will be straight with you about what is ready.

Has it run a real event?

It has timed full community club nights at Margaret River Swim Club (Term 2 2026: 37 swimmers, four lanes, multiple heats, zero timing failures). We are onboarding our first school carnivals now.

When should we get in touch?

Before your carnival season. High-school carnivals cluster in Term 1 and primary carnivals around late Term 4 and early Term 1, so the earlier we talk, the smoother your pilot.
